To ensure you are well-prepared for your AmeriCorps Scientists in Parks term, please review all contents on this page thoroughly. Within your first week you should have reviewed all contents thoroughly to understand programmatic expectations and support offered.
Stewards Orientation Video (REQUIRED VIEWING)
It is required that you watch the 15-min program orientation video below within your first week. It is full of very useful information (like how you submit your timesheet)!
Stewards Welcome Calls
Your Stewards Program Coordinator will send an email inviting you to register for a virtual Welcome Call during your first few days. You will have a couple of options to choose from to attend during your first couple of weeks lwith other SIPs across the country who've started around the same time as you. It is important for you to review the Member Orientation and the contents of these webpage tabs prior to the welcome call so you can come with clarifying questions.
These calls will cover topics related to your orientation such as: how our program supports you, the SIP partner structure, AmeriCorps info, Q&A, etc. The welcome calls are not required but highly encouraged!
