Apply for winter-season positions by Sunday, 14 June at 11:59 PM EDT
We welcome aspiring professionals to apply and we invite the full participation of individuals currently exploring STEM and public land management career fields.
Apply early—positions will close after receiving 60 applicants!

Before you apply

1. Browse available positions
Take a look at positions that interest you!

Ensure you are available for the full number of weeks listed in the description. Check start & end dates are a good match.

You may apply for up to five positions per season.

Positions close once they receive 60 applications, so apply early!

2. Collect application materials
Prepare key items before you start applying:

Current resume
-
Recent school transcript (unofficial is OK)

2–3 references (name, email, phone number; choose people who who could speak strongly on your behalf, if contacted)



3. Review timelines
Applications open for winter positions by 2nd week in May

4. Learn more about the program
Join our upcoming Scientists in Parks Discovery Session and learn about the application process, hear insights from past participants, and ask questions about winter-season opportunities.

5. Preview application questions
